The Savage Pillars

This is who we are; this is the bar we set for every person invited to join our crew:  an absolute love for the process and commitment to see it through each and every day because we know that when stress and pressure come the level of our training makes all the difference.

We have found that the lifter who comes in, prepared to be present and aware during their training sessions; who is coachable and willing to discover their strengths and weaknesses while vulnerably working to improve on all fronts; who chooses to commit to and enjoy the process of self-discovery and self-mastery through discipline and the application of the other Savage Pillars, will, without fail, become a stronger person, mentally, emotionally and physically. 

Our Savage Pillars are designed to challenge our members to become the best they can be.  They are: Mindfulness, Movement, Self-Discovery, Self-Mastery and Strength:

Mindfulness allows us to be present in the moment, to actively and fully engage in each training session and to take the lessons learned out of the gym and into life. 

By improving posture, strengthening muscles, developing balance and practicing a wide variety of activities Movement becomes natural, strong, and effortless; and Movement towards our goals becomes a joy, not a burden.

Our willingness to dig deep, identify weaknesses and those things that might keep us from attaining our objectives we apply a wide range of tools encouraging Self-Discovery, leading to Self-Mastery, as we discover our true identity and what is needed for us to walk in it.

The discipline and commitment required to show up to training and engage in the process of personal growth and development required to become the strongest and best we can be takes us further down the path of Self-Mastery and opens the door to even greater Self-Discovery.

Genuine Strength comes when the other Pillars are intentionally and actively engaged with on an ongoing basis, not only physical strength, but strength of character, emotional resilience, and personal inner strength as well.

Our program actively incorporates each of these Pillars into every training session and, combined with our proprietary C.A.L.M. Method, is one-way Savage Barbell Club, Inc. is helping to make the strength community, the strength of the community.

Savage Barbell Club is a private powerlifting gym. We DO NOT offer open memberships. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background, experience, or injury history, but only those with a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to our team dynamic are welcome to stay.
